Late Fall in Hopewell Big Woods

Photos from a warm November day. Yes, there are still interesting things to see when the leaves are off the trees. Every season has it’s own magic to show you! This hike was on the Turtle Trail in French Creek State Park.

“Feel the energy” from fallen tree roots.
Look for nature’s sculpture…if you are drawn to them. I see a dog face.

My eyes were drawn to this one. Use your imagination…and what do you see?

Late fall is still a good time to find mushrooms…especially after a heavy rain! On a warm November day, we found this group of tiny mushrooms.
